Crystal internet services was created in early 1996 to answer the curiosity of the public. The system was started with a 28.8 k modem rack and a cisco router

With vision of the future in mind crystal internet services was purchased by Barry O’Rourke and Nick Meredith towards the end of 1998. Since that time the entire system has been upgraded and relocated to the city on Murray Street, West Perth. The number of dial in lines has quadrupled and the subscriber base has more than trebled at the same time boasting one of the lowest user ratios in Perth.
