Step 1
Double click on My Computer icon on your desktop and you will get a screen similar to figure(a)

Double click on Dial-Up Networking |

Now click on Make New Connection |

Where it says Type a name for the computer you are dailing, type in Crystal, Now click on Next |

Where it says area code type in 08, Telphone number: 6265 3700 and select Australia (61) from the pull down menu, Now click on Next |

You should now see this, click on Finish |

You have just created a Icon named crystal, now Right Click on Crystal and go down to properties in the pull down menu |

Untick, Use area code and dialing properties, Now go to Server types at the very top of the screen |

Make sure all the following settings are set as illustrated above, only TCP/IP and Enable software compression should be ticked. Un-tick all other boxes that are ticked
Click OK and you can now double click on the crystal icon, enter your username and password and click connect.
